Standup Paddleboard Lessons
“Turn the paddle around.” This is probably the most popular tip given to new paddlers, and while there is additional instruction that's of value, the reality is that Standup Paddling is one of the least technical sports you'll find... which is a huge part of Standup Paddling's appeal!
When you come in for a rental we give you a 5-10 minute on-land orientation to get you going with basic safety knowledge as well as the basics for a proper paddling technique. It's enough to get you on the water and start having fun!

Starting with true modern beginner boards and incredibly easy to rig sails we get you on the water and windsurfing within minutes instead hours. From there you can upgrade to advanced rigs that handle the higher winds needed to learn how to plane, water-start and use a harness. Progressing one step farther you're onto smaller more advanced boards that lack a daggerboard and get you thinking about footstraps. A roof rack or truck will be needed for transport, but we do have straps and pads to cinch things down on your vehicle.
Rentals include everything you need: On-Land Introductory Lesson, Board, Paddle, Leash and Life Jacket (required to be on the board by local laws).
