Nexus Pro - Freeride 5 Batten
The Delta Quick Review: Most brands look at their recreational oriented products as dumbed down versions of premium offerings. Goya takes a different approach. Just because you're not competing in PWA events does not mean you can't appreciate the same attention to detail and refinement that a pro level rider expects. With the Nexus you get the same quality of construction as all their other sails, including extensive use of scrim cloths and the Carbon Stretch Control system. What makes the Nexus a recreational sail are shaping details to make it a product better suited to recreational riders. The rigging and tuning is simplified so that obvious changes are visible when you're tensioning the downhual and outhaul. This makes it much easier to get familiar with your sail, and most importantly get the most out of it through tuning. On the water the Nexus has a solid, stable pull with a smooth power delivery. Part of this is that the Nexus has a bigger sweet spot than their other models. By doing this Goya knows that riders will have an easier time finding balance with harness lines and generating power to get you up onto a plane. Yep, there's finally a premium product designed just for you.
The heart and soul of freeride windsurfing is realized in the new Nexus sail. The Nexus is the best sail choice for power, speed and maneuvers in conditions ranging from flat water to bump and jump, and a touch of surf.
Excellent low-end power, stability and easy control, blazing speed, big jumps and hard carving maneuvers, the Nexus will deliver beautifully on all of the above. The light, easy handling of Nexus makes light wind sailing more fun, and powered up sailing more comfortable.
Smaller sizes of Nexus are cut with higher foots for tight maneuvering, and larger sizes are cut more for low-end power and speed. Nexus transforms to suit the conditions. Built to last, Nexus features our finest construction details. The Nexus pairs with Freecarve and Freeride boards and matches best with the Carrera Freecarve and Volar Freeride.
Recommended flatwater and bump & jump mast 70 Pro.
Optional flatwater mast 99 Pro.

Pro Scrim & Monofilm
The Scrim material used in the main panels offers super strong durability, super light weight and a supple and alive feel. X-Ply luff panels, CSC™ Carbon Stretch Control, TCR™ Titanium Clew Ring, RSS™ Rip Stop Sleeve and the MTF™ Molded Tack Fairing round off the peak quality package. Sleeve cut treatments as well as tack and foot reinforcements are now folded to increase durability and prevent edge fraying.
A scalloped upper leech reinforcement prevents breakdown of the leech from fluttering in strong wind conditions such as Omaezaki, the Gorge and Pozo. The Nexus comes with a 7mil Monofilm main window, a 5mil Monofilm upper window, offering crystal clear optics, light weight and a crisp direct feel.
